It is your responsibility to ensure that you can gain adequate insurance, before booking this course. We do recommend you contact your insurance company to find out what their requirements are, as they change all of the time. If you do not have an insurance company we recommend Insync Insurance.
We do recommend that you contact your local council, to find out what their requirements are, as every council is different. Most local councils in the borough of London will require you to have a Level 4 qualification.
They will also be able to advise you as to what they require for you to obtain your laser licence, what their local by-laws are and recommend a local LPA (Laser Protection Advisor). So this will be your starting point before you book your course, so we can best advise you.
More councils and local authorities are tightening up their requirements for their registration, and so it is a good time to start thinking about Level 4 – even if your council is fairly lenient at this stage.
